Perth Basin Pitch

A one day technical workshop matching innovative sub-surface technology from leading geoscience service and research vendors with industry need in this important basin.

Ascendience Geoscience in conjunction with PESA WA will be holding the Perth Basin Pitch, a one-day innovation workshop that aims to match cutting-edge technology with industry need. Vendors from the Service Industry, Academia and R&D organisations will be invited to pitch technology solutions across themes of Geology, Geophysics, Petrophysics and Reservoir Engineering, seeking to address pertinent sub-surface issues that represent potential barriers to future project success.

Twenty short “pitch” style presentations are planned, addressing a range of sub-surface uncertainties that will ranked by group discussion based on perceived need and value creation potential. The closing hour will provide an executive summary of the proposed technology solutions aimed at decision makers within E&P companies looking to address project uncertainties.

This innovative new workshop format will address future challenges and highlight new opportunities in a basin which has a rich pipeline of current development projects and considerable untapped exploration potential.
